takeshi hongo was injured & came back in episode 41. he joined kamen rider no.2 to fight the magma monster ghoster, at sakurajima. the original costume was being remake, the helmet changed to dark green, eyes became red. this darker form of no.1 was later named "sakurajima no.1" .
